    Welcome to 2nd grade! I am so excited to be at Hancock Elementary for my first year of teaching. I have such a passion for kids and can't wait for what this year will bring. Let's have an amazing year of learning and growing!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Go Lopes! I was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona so Chandler Unified School District has my been my home. I am a graduate from Perry High School- Go Pumas! I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year at such an awesome school like Hancock!

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal as a teacher is to expose children to multiple ways of learning. Through engaging strategies and activities, I want students to explore new ways of learning that they can add to their tool belt for their educational journey. Only positive learning experiences will come out of my classroom no matter if the learning came from a success or a mistake. Learning is done through all things in life and I firmly believe that to be true inside the classroom as well. The environment for my students will be safe and comfortable so that they are able to learn to the best of their ability. Now let's work together to make this a fantastic year!
