    My name is Mandy Serchen and I am the EL Coordinator at Hancock Elementary. I am originally from Wisconsin and have been teaching since 2006. I work with small groups of students in grades kindergarten - sixth grade on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to promote student success.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in elementary education and a master's degree in administration from Arkansas State.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that a healthy and safe classroom is the first step to promoting student growth, increased engagement, and life-long learners.
