Welcome to Mrs. Lopez's Kindergarten class! Kindergarten is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. I am looking forward to forming a partnership with you during your child's Kindergarten year so that we may provide them with the best possible experience!
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, a minor in Elementary Education and a specialization in Bilingual Education. I later obtained my endorsements in both ESL and Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for over 10 years and I have been in the Chandler District since 2007. I have taught Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that each child is unique, with different needs and learning styles. I also, believe that every child is capable of learning and succeeding in life. My goal is not only to create a safe and positive learning environment that fosters a love for learning and success, but also a place where your child will feel loved and valued.
