    Welcome!

    Hello my name is Sandra Ruliffson and I teach 1st grade at Hancock. I have been teaching at Hancock since it opened in 2004. I am so excited to be your child's teacher. Your child will learn and grow so much this year. I look forward to an amazing first grade year for you child!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I eaned a BA in Education from ENMU in Portales, NM. I taught in New Mexico for 3 years and moved to Arizona in 2003. I have been teaching for 15 years. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. My absolute favorite is first grade.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe every child learns differently. My goal as a teacher is to reach each and every child. I want to provide students with a positive and engaging learning environment in which they can become life long learners. I want to challenge every student and help each one reach their highest potential.
