    Welcome!

    I was born in Arizona and have lived here my entire life. I grew up in Mesa, but I currently live in Chandler. I have two wonderful kids and love to read and run in my free time. I’m also a huge sports fan and especially love to root on the Suns, Cardinals, and D-Backs.

    My Education and Professional Background

    My mom was a teacher for over 30 years and I have been drawn to education from a young age. I have previously taught 4th and 5th grade and love teaching 6th grade at WGA! I graduated from Arizona State with a degree in history and got my Masters in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I have my gifted endorsement and I have highly qualified endorsements in Middle School Math and English Language Arts.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I consider myself a lifelong learner and look to encourage that in my students. I believe it is crucial to create and preserve a positive and respectful learning environment that supports student development and encourages them to take risks. It is my goal to nurture my student’s curiosity and problem solving skills.
