    Welcome!

    Welcome! I am excited for this year at Weinberg Gifted Academy! I am looking forward to our journey in Specials and learning about financial literacy and to discover the ways that we can be entrepreneurs. You will hear us refer to this class with the moniker FLITE (Financial LITeracy & Entrepreneurship). Some of my hobbies include reading, cooking, and playing in musical ensembles. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I live in Chandler with my husband. We have 3 daughters and 3 dogs.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Engineering and spent some time working as an engineer for an auto manufacturer.  After a while, I went on to get my teaching certificate in Mathematics.  I taught math and engineering at Basha High School/Advanced Middle School before coming to WGA. Previously, I was the Media Assistant at WGA, and I'm excited to delve into the second year of Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship with you.

    In addition to teaching FLitE, I run the choir clubs, and the Academic Pentathlon Club, where we placed 2nd in the 2023/24 National Competition.  It's going to be a fun year!
