Civics Testing Overview

  • In 2015, the Arizona legislature passed the American Civics Act which requires students, beginning with the graduating class of 2017, to pass a civics test based on the United States Immigration and Naturalization civics questions. Students are required to score 60% or higher in order to graduate from high school or obtain a high school equivalency certificate. Chandler Unified School District tests students in 11th grade through the U.S. History classes. If you are not in a U.S. History class you will be given an invitation by Mrs. Berrelleza to take it.

11th grade students will be taking this exam through "school city" on the computers on NOVEMBER 18TH AND 19TH 2020

Please see the "Civics Resources" tab on the side to study for the exam.
