Welcome to Mrs. Block's website. I am excited to have your student in my classroom this year and look forward to sharing the school year together with him/her. As a teacher, I will make an effort to create an educational partnership with you and your student that will create courage, determination, and passion for math. My commitment as an educator will be to provide your student with a nurturing and challenging educational environment that will ensure his/her academic success.

My Education and Professional Background

I completed my Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University in 1998.

My Educational Philosophy

My personal goal for my classroom is to challenge students and watch them grow to their full potential. In my classroom, I want students to have freedom that allows for expression and creativity. Students should be able to experiment with likes and dislikes and to realize their strengths and weaknesses.
