Welcome Basha Bears! I'm looking forward to teaching American Sign Language and Deaf Culture this year!
My Education and Professional Background
This is my 14th year teaching and I am excited to join the Basha family! I have taught in both public schools and charter schools at the junior high and the high school level. I have my BA in history from Arizona State and my MA in Secondary Education. I have taught history and ASL for the last 13 years and am ready to teach sign language full time at my new school.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe students need a caring teacher who watches out for their emotional needs as well as their educational needs.
