About
Dunigan...
Hello and welcome to the 2020 - 2021 school year!
My Education and Professional Background
I attended Grand Canyon University to earn my BS in Science. I then went on to complete my Masters in 2009. I have been working in the world of education for 15 years. It is a great fit for me as I love learning and love facilitating the learning of others. I have been teaching in the high school classroom since 2008, with this being my 11th year at Basha High. I am anticipating a great year!
My Educational Philosophy
I believe in self- growth to help develop self-worth. Education is a powerful tool to become an independant and confident adult. No matter what the subject is, I believe it is more the journey of gathering content knowledge that makes us educated beings, not so much the content itself. Being a science teacher, I just love the thought process science provokes and believe it to be applicable to all parts of life.
