Welcome to Basha High School! I am looking forward to working with you and your student in Math class this year. Feel free to email me whenever you have any questions or concerns.
My Education and Professional Background
I have been teaching mathematics since 1991. I taught for six years in Oregon, four years in Scottsdale, five years at Mesquite Jr High (Gilbert) and fifteen years at Gilbert High School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics- Secondary Eduation from Western Oregon University and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student can do math when given the tools and motivation. It is my goal to see every student get an aha moment every chance they can. I am one of those teachers that will be relentless when it comes to students achievements. I want everyone to succeed and progress to the point they are ready for the next class or experience in the objectives.
