• BASHA WRESTLING*
    The Basha High Wrestling program has enjoyed success since it's opening in 2003. In that time, Basha has produced 65 state placers including 11 State Champions and 12 State Runner-Ups and the Girls Team State Championship in 2021.  Basha is led by Head Coach Michael Garcia (Arizona State) who is entering his 30th year as a Head Coach, 2 years at North High, 6 years at Tempe High and 22 at Basha High.  During his tenure, coach Garcia has coached 16 state champions and over 80 state placers.  Coach Garcia is assisted by Eric Toraya (Sunnyside, Iowa State), Jerry Garcia (Arizona State), Adam Chavira (Arizona State) and Pete Postiglione (New York - Long Island), our staff boasts many years of College wrestling experience.
