    Welcome to chemistry at Hamilton high school. Chemistry class is like a cooking class, except instead of making food, you're making chemicals. Through the course of the year we will learn about the study of matter, its properties, how and why substances combine or separate to form other substances, and how substances interact with energy!

    I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education in Secondary Education with a Concentration in Chemistry from Arizona State University.

    My Educational Philosophy

    ​My belief is that education is capable of empowering all students to achieve more, not only in their educational career but also their personal and professional lives. As educators we are put in front of pupils whose brains are malleable and full of hope. It is our job to lead by example and give them the tools to make an impact on their own lives. Encourage them to see beyond their current situation and the great potential they all have with the right effort, support and guidance. These students are the future of the world. We are blessed to help guide our world's future leaders, business owners, or parents to their life's purpose. There is a wide variety of learners, and each learner's needs must be addressed in the classroom setting.
