    Welcome to Hamilton Art classes. In my class students will study the visual arts by using the four components of a quality art program: aesthetics, art criticism, art history and studio production. Students will use the elements and principles of design to produce quality compositions and along the way develop their ability to apply the language of art.

    BA in Elementary Education with a Secondary Art Endorsement, 2003 named AZ art educator of the year by the AZ Art Association

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that art is an idea that belongs to every person. It is found in all cultures. Whatever physical form it might take, whatever emotional, aesthetic, or psychological challenge it may offer, it is vital to every culture’s sense of itself. In Hamilton’s art program I have tried to develop curriculum that revolves around the students’ life experiences and hope to enrich their lives with the process of getting to a final composition.
