    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from ASU with my bachelor's in 2015 and in 2018 I returned to graduate school and received my masters in English Education. I am an Arizona native- a product of the Chandler Unified School District. It is a humbling experience to be teaching in this school district after being a part of it for my K-12 education. Literature, writing, and teaching are my passions and I am so excited to be able to share them with students at Hamilton High School!

    My Educational Philosophy

    Every classroom presents a unique community of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. I intend to encourage students while teaching them to be intrinsically motivated through challenging yet supportive lessons and assignments. As an English teacher, I desire to help students understand and continue to learn about the world around them, while developing an appreciation for literature.
