    Welcome!

    My name is Matt Stone. This is my 10th year at Hamilton and 23rd overall as a teacher. This year I will be teaching students with mild-moderate disabilities who have IEPs. I teach English, Workplace Exploration, Social Studies, and Living Skills. I am also the head coach for Girls Flag Football and an advisor for Unified Sports.     My Education and Professional Background

    I am originally from Portland, Oregon (Go Ducks!!!)  I received my Bachelor's (History) and Master's (Education/Russian History) degrees from Arizona State University.  I earned National Board Certification (Exceptional Learner) in 2011 and renewed in 2020.  I have been teaching Special Education and History since 2001.
