Welcome!
Hello there! My name is Mr. Bullock (Mr. B), and I am the associate band director of the Hamilton Band program. I co-teach the Symphonic Winds and Concert Band with Mr. Werner, and teach Jazz Black. I am also part of the team that teaches the Husky Pride Marching Band. In addition to my band classes, I teach Film Studies.
When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with friends, play games, and hang out with my wife Kayla and our puppy Loki.My Education and Professional Background
I was born and raised in Arizona. I attended Grand Canyon University and received my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Music Education. While at GCU, I studied under Col. Frank Dubuy, Dr. Paul Koch, Andrew Gross, Dave Bacon, and Dr. Charles Hopkins.
This is my second year at Hamilton High School. Before joining the team at Hamilton, I taught in Mesa Public Schools.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that the arts are an integral part to the complete education of a student.
