    My Education and Professional Background

    I am currently teaching , READ 180, and AVID 9-12, and I am also the sponsor of the AVID club. I  have taught English since 1998, previously at Highland High School in Gilbert, Perry High School, and now at Hamilton. I have taught Freshmen English, Freshmen Honors English, Sophomore English, Sophomore World History/ English Block, Sophomore Honors English, READ 180, and AVID 9-12. Additionally, I am the Site Coordinator for AVID.  I hold a B.A. in Education with an Emphasis in English from Arizona State University and a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from Northern Arizona University. For a period of four years, I was also a class facilitator for the University of Phoenix.
