• My name is Karen Hudak and I am a TVI and COMS.
TVI- Teacher for the Visually Impaired
COMS- Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist

I have worked with children who are blind or visually impaired since 2001. My home school is at Hamilton High School; however, I travel the district to see students in their home schools. Some of my work includes direct lessons (braille, assistive technology, low vision devices, white cane) and other times I consult with teams to make sure my students needs are being met. I work closely with the special education teams and families.
