    It is truly a blessing to be able to interact with your family in this academic environment. Together we can set your child up for success in any endeavor they pursue here in high school and in their pursuits after high school, whatever they may be.

    My Education and Professional Background

    Two Associates Degrees from Community College of the Air Force; the first, in Criminal Justice, the other, Instructor of Technology and Military Science.  A Bachelors Degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University. Two Masters, one in Education from Northern Arizona University.  And the other, a Masters in Physical Education from Arizona State University.

    Professionally, I served more than 21 years in the Air Force as a Security Forces member ("Air Force speak" for a policeman). Nearly half of my career was spent in the teaching or training environment. I taught at the Air Force Security Police Academy and Air Force Basic Training. I have been teaching here, at Hamilton, since 2003.

    My Educational Philosophy

    It is about modelling behavior. You cannot expect someone to grasp a concept that you, yourself, don't embrace and manifest in your actions.
