Mr. Patrick Hoddy - Spanish I
Mr. Patrick Hoddy was born and raised in Tempe and received his Spanish degree and teaching certificate at Arizona State University.
He studied Spanish at the University of Granada, Spain and later received his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University.
Although he has taught 29 years, this is his 11th year at Hamilton High School and he is very proud to be a Husky.
Mr. Hoddy has three beautiful ladies and a handsome dog. Wife Nancy, daughters Clare and Kate and a goldendoodle, Wrigley.
He has coached golf, wrestling, soccer and cross country and has taught 1st and 2nd year Spanish for 25 years.
Mr. Hoddy attributes his accomplishments to the supportive family and friends he has had throughout his life.
He enjoys golf, fishing, skiing, riding quads, music, movies, traveling, non-fiction and watching all sporting events.
Sr. Hoddy's 6 rules to live by:
1. Be kind - treat others with respect and you will gain respect.
2. Try your best most of the time. Everybody has bad days.
3. Learn from your mistakes, but don't dwell on them.
4. Do what makes you happy. You have one life. Make it count!
5. We aren't stupid! We lack experience. Try a lot of things and gain experience!
6. Don't quit so easily. Have fun during your journey and give yourself time to see success!.
