• Welcome to Hamilton's Softball Academy!

Softball Academy (aka Athletic Locker) is for athletes who intend to tryout for the school softball team in the Spring. This class aims to improve every aspect of a student-athlete’s game.  Students can expect strength and conditioning workouts, injury prevention rehab, team-building exercises, fundamental instruction, softball strategy, game-like situations, and constant competition.

Quarter One: Athletes focus on prehab, arm care, strength, hand-eye coordination, and competition. Only one day a week on the softball field.

Quarter Two: Athletes continue to work on prehab, arm care, strength, hand-eye coordination, and competition. This quarter we add in a few more field days and two days of scrimmages. Athletes spend study hall days preparing for the Winter Academy Final.

Quarter Three: Athletes spend first month of this quarter in a full class format. Once February hits, we focus on tryouts and creating teams. Starting the second week of February, athletes report to their designated field and work with their teams.

Quarter Four: Athletes continue working with their teams. Once season is over, we resume a full class approach to workouts. Athletes use last week of school to prepare for Academy final.
