Basha Accelerated Middle School
Dress Code Policy
The attire worn by Accelerated Middle School students is an honorable signature of our school to the larger community, an indicator of our unity, our pride of purpose, and their safety. Because a uniform identifies a student as part of a group with distinctive purposes, Basha High School requires AMS students to wear a uniform and abide by specific standards.
AMS students should wear:
- Hunter green or white polo
- Khaki or black bottoms – pants, skirts, shorts (non-athletic; free from any holes, frays, rips, and tears; and must be school appropriate length).
- Jackets/Sweatshirts are SOLID hunter green/white/black/grey – no logos more than a quarter in size. Basha/AMS signature sweaters and hoodies are allowed.
- Friday – Basha AMS Spirit shirts or any Basha shirt and denim/khaki/black bottoms (students may wear “trendy” pants with holes, frays, rips, and tears during this time as long as it is non-revealing).
- PE Uniform – Basha PE shirt and black shorts
- Shoes and socks must always be worn during PE. Sandals may be worn without socks and must adhere securely at the heel and be tied properly if they were designed to do so. No flip flops may be worn.
