    Welcome to 7th grade Social Studies, I am excited to begin this year with great hopes for our brand new 7th graders. This class will be discussion-based and require students to use evidence that supports their answers. I look forward to getting to know all of you and hope you come to enjoy the Social Studies classroom.

    My Education and Professional Background

    My educational background is that graduated with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education in History from Arizona State University, I plan to receive my Masters' degree after 3 years of teaching. My professional experience began with a full year of Substitute teaching after college. I taught for a semester at a high school in the Phoenix Union High school district teaching AP world history to sophomores before I started to work at Payne Junior High.

    My educational philosophy is that we must learn to make mistakes before we can achieve success.
