    Welcome!

    Welcome to Mr. Kussy's Social Studies class. I am so excited and honored to be your teacher. This year we will be studying the American Revolution, and World War II through the Modern Day.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my undergraduate degree from Arizona State and began teaching in 1999. I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona in 2009. I have taught Social Studies throughout my entire teaching career. I have been here at Payne since 2008 and look forward to many more years.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every child that enters my class is a unique individual with differing personalities, emotions, and learning styles. My goal is to provide an environment for each student to grow intellectually and emotionally to assist them in reaching their full potential.
