    Welcome!

    Welcome to Payne Junior High School. My name is Lisa Palella and I am the proud Principal of Payne Jr High. Payne is a very special place, from students to staff alike we all uphold our core values; Excellence, Collaboration, Equity, Intergrity and Efficiency.

    I am married to my best friend and I am blessed with four beautiful bonus kids and two granddaughters. I have six siblings who mean the world to me. Our family loves to spend time playing games, watching sports but most of all, we enjoy being together and laughing with each other!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University, a Master's degree from Ottawa University and another Masters degree from Grand Canyon University.  This will be my ninth year at Payne and my ninth year as a junior high school administrator. Prior to Administration, I was a special education facilitator for CUSD and taught special education at the junior high level.
