    My Education and Professional Background

    My Educational Philosophy

    This is my 19th year teaching! I have a passion for being the first experience in Art for many of our CUSD students. My educational belief is that students deserve to be treated with respect, in order to create an environment of exploration, comfort to take challenges, & mutual respect for all individuals. I refer to all my students as "my kids," because once they are placed in my Art or Ceramics class, they become like my own children! :)

    It is a privilege, for myself, to work at & also a privilege for your student, to attend a school that offers an Art & Ceramics program! My classes fill up fast, so be sure to get your student on the list for the class that interests them most! Many lifelong memories & projects are made in the Art Room.
