    Welcome!

    Hi! Welcome to 7th grade Social Studies! I am Ms. Bartlett. I have been teaching here since Payne opened in 2005. This is the only school that I have ever taught at. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education. I am proud and excited to be a part of the Payne staff, and I am looking forward to working with your student.

    My Educational Philosophy

    It is my belief that students will learn more if they are engaged but also having a good time. I hope to get these kids fired up about history. Additionally, I realize we have to model and teach by example. While I am passionate about my content, it is also my goal to teach responsibility, accountability, organizational, and time management skills. I hope to work with parents on making this year a successful and memorable one.
