My Education and Professional Background
I received my Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I earned a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. I've taught sixth, seventh and eighth grade Social Studies/Sciences for my entire career as an educator, beginning in 2008. I am passionate about helping students make connections to the value of history, citizenship, and becoming responsible adults in our ever changing world.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe every student has the power to grow in academic success, and my goal is to help each student find that path to success.
