    Welcome!

    Hello, I am Valerie Delavigne. I am a Native Texan currently residing in Chandler, Arizona with my husband, Matt and our four children. I love camping, college football Saturday, Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball, reading and grilling.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Substance Abuse Studies from Texas Tech University in 1994. I earned my Master of Education in Special Education through Grand Canyon University. This is my 3rd year at Casteel. I will be teaching 9th grade English and 9th grade English-Resource.

    Prior to working at CUSD, I worked over 20 years in the behavioral health field.

    In our classroom, we will: Build a classroom COMMUNITY. Find SUPPORT within our classroom community. Step outside our comfort zone to STRETCH & GROW. Use our voice to ADVOCATE for ourselves.
