    Welcome!

    Welcome to my class! I am thrilled to be a part of Casteel High School and the wonderful community of Courage, Character and Commitment. Together we will be engaged in the story of who we are as citizens of the United States and people of the world, where we come from and where we are, and why it matters. You will be asked to critically read, write, think and engage as we journey through time and place. Our class will be amazing because everybody contributes to its success!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my Bachelors Degree in Education from Arizona State University and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. With more than 20 years of teaching, and over fifteen years in CUSD, I still love the challenge and variety that education provides.

    I believe that all students have an ability to learn and with guidance and support can make a difference in themselves and our world.
