    My Education and Professional Background

    Earned a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University and Post Bac. in Secondary Science Education from Arizona State University. Former process engineer with IBM and Dell, Educational experience includes teaching Chemistry at all levels, Math and Engineering in New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. I have been a Master teacher in Introduction to Engineering Design with Project Lead the Way (PLTW) since 2002 and brought PLTW to the state of Arizona in 2004.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that education is the responsibility of both the student and the teacher. Therefore in my classroom, I am a facilitator of student centered, project based learning.
