    Welcome to chemistry! I look forward to learning along side of you this year. If there is one thing that I would ask of you this year, it would be to think outside the box. Your mindset means everything! As Eric Thomas says, "Sometimes it ain’t about being the most talented. Sometimes it ain’t about being the smartest. Sometimes it’s not even about working the hardest. Sometimes it’s about consistency! Consistency!" I ask for your hard work, positive mindset, and consistency this year. Now let's do this!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I grew up here in the greater Phoenix area and attended Phoenix Country Day School through 12th grade. From there, I received my undergraduate degree in biochemistry and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Arizona State University. Go Sun Devils! 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I truly believe that we never stop learning because life never stops teaching. I ask students to work hard and take accountability. Another Eric Thomas quote I value is "don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do". I expect my classroom to have an air of respect and in turn I promise to respect each and every student for the true individual he/she is.
