Welcome to another great year at Casteel. I am grateful to be a part of the Colts family, and I look forward to the 2023-2024 school year.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my BA in Small Business Management. My passion for education led me back to school where I received my teachers' certificate from Moreland University. Since then, I have taught physical education, ELA, and business at both the elementary and secondary level.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student has the capacity to learn, but that everyone's path to understanding is different. I feel that hands on learning promotes engagement and participation. By involving students in the learning process, I can help them understand how they learn as well as foster independence and promote 21st century skills.
