About
Djariri...
Hello! I was born and raised in Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University in 1998. (GO SPARTANS!) Prior to moving to Arizona in 2006, I taught in Walled Lake, Michigan for 7 years. I have been teaching in Chandler Unified School District since I moved here. I taught at Chandler High from 2006 to 2017, and now I am proud to be a part of the CCHS Colts Family! During my teaching career, I have taught everything from Algebra I to Honors Pre-Calculus.
My Education and Professional Background
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Teaching. Both of my degrees were earned at Michigan State University. I began teaching in 1999. I am Dual Enrollment certified so that students can earn college credit while taking my course in high school.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that struggling to learn new knowledge is good. It teaches us to work hard and persevere. Learning never stops. Making mistakes is part of learning.
