My Education and Professional Background

I have a Masters of Education from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education and Painting from Ohio University. I opened Perry High School in 2007 as one of the original faculty.

My Educational Philosophy

My philosophy for success in any level of Sculpture is simple. Making visually pleasing, or perplexing art, is a learned skill. Practice, time, repetition, good craftsmanship and imagination are the cornerstones for success. A growth mindset is required in Sculpture. Showing up and working every day, no matter if you are inspired, is what makes the magic happen.
