Welcome to the Perry High School Orchestras. We are excited to make beautiful music of many genres to uplift our spirits and gladden our hearts.
My Education and Professional Background
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Chapman University. Masters degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Chapman University. Masters degree in Music Education, Arizona State University. Doctorate degree in Music Education, Arizona State University.
My Educational Philosophy
It is my belief that all students can learn to play a string instrument. It takes good direction, lots of practice and hard work, but the end result of beautiful music is worth all the effort. Music can become part of your identity; who you are; someone who creates. Learning and performing many genres of music opens your mind and heart to many cultures and peoples who value those genres. Our goal is to uplift everyone with the gift of music.
