    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been a science teacher since 2006. Previously, I taught core chemistry and biology at Desert Ridge High School, as well as all manner of biology and chemistry up to AP at Paragon Science Academy. I completed my undergraduate studies at Indiana University and my master's at GCU.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe in cultivating a strong sense of community in the classroom as well as the school as a whole. Part of what attracted me to Perry was that the school shares these same core values. I believe in pushing students a bit beyond their comfort zone so that they can grow and cultivating positivity and a sense of safety and belonging so students are comfortable stretching their capabilities.
