Benjamin Sampayan currently serves as the Director of Bands at Perry High School, leading the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Puma Regiment, and Winter Season Ensembles. He joined the music faculty at Perry in 2014 as the Associate Director of Bands after completing his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude. Playing the trumpet, Benjamin has performed with the Salt River Brass, Sonic Brass, the Arizona State Sun Devil Marching Band, various churches throughout the valley, and local musical theatre productions.
