I am excited to be a part of the Perry team and to be teaching Investigative Science. I look forward to meeting your child and doing my best to ensure they have a safe and motivating year in science.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. My teaching career began at Basha High School where I taught Biology, Investigative Science & Human Biology. After several years, I decided to go back to school full time where I earned a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. While working as a health professional I realized that I miss teaching and inspiring young minds. Santan Jr. High was home for a few years until I came to Perry High School. I am thrilled to be part of Puma Nation!
My Educational Philosophy
I am a lifelong learner!! Teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. One of my goals as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I will always strive to be the best educator that I can be.
