    Welcome to Perry High Social Studies! I look forward to getting to know each and every student in my classes!

    My Education and Professional Background

    This is a little information about myself and what to expect this school year. I am a native Arizonan. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2005 with a degree in Secondary Education (History). I started at Willis Jr. High in the spring of 2005 where I taught for eleven years.  I came to Perry High School in 2016 and am loving it.  I have taught World History, AP World History, and U.S./Arizona History.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every child has the right to learn in an environment in which they feel comfortable and challenged. I believe that every student can succeed if given the proper tools and motivation. I believe that every student is capable of developing their own thoughts and opinions and that they have the right to express those ideas and opinions.
