    My Education and Professional Background

    Hi, My name is Lorena DeCristofaro.
    Perry High School students call me "Mrs. D"
    I have a Daughter who is 25, who graduated from NAU and a son who is 23 who also graduated from NAU. They are both out of the house and working.  
    My husband Dan is a Lawyer and works from Home. We have a dog Teddy, who we love and another rescue that used to be my mom's, named Piccola .

    My Educational Philosophy

    I am passionate about art and about teaching.
    I am very structured and believe artistic ability is a constantly evolving trait that can continuously get better, no matter how bad or how good you are. There is always room to improve.
    If you are not "talented" you can become so, by being diligent and applying suggestions and tips given in my class.
    I will guarantee you will be a better artist after taking my class.
    I am very organized, and structural.
    My class will be disciplined. I love when students meet deadlines and follow directions.
