My Education and Professional Background
I started teaching in 2001 and joined the Chandler Unified School District in 2005. I graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Political Science and a Minor in History (Go Devils!). Later, I received a M.Ed. in Education from Texas State University.
My Educational Philosophy
The purpose of education is to learn to be satiated with life. I believe that education should bring exceptional experiences that are so full of wonder and connectedness that students learn to live lives that are truly satisfied (Delpit 2006).
