How can I check grades online?
Posted by:The Infinite Campus Portal allows you to see grades in all your classes here at Perry. If you do not have a password, please contact the school to obtain that information. Mrs. Trollope updates grades at least once each week. -
I am struggling to complete my homework, what should I do?
Posted by:Make sure you review your notes for the lesson. If your notes are not complete or you were absent for the lesson, use the textbook to see examples for each type of problem on the homework. There also countless videos online that can be viewed to fill in any gaps in your understanding. The MOST IMPORTANT thing when you get stuck on your homework is to make sure you ask for help as soon as possible. Continuing to not understand important concepts will hurt your assessment scores in the end and that will significantly impact your grade. -
How can I check to make sure I am doing my homework correctly?
Posted by:Answers for worksheets will be provided in Google Classroom. Answers for textbook assignments can be checked with the odd answer key in the back of the book. If you are not getting the correct answer and are unable to find your mistake, make sure you clarify your thinking in class the next day.

Can I retake a test or quiz on which I did poorly?
Posted by:There are no quiz or test retakes in Precalculus and Honors Precalculus. Students will have ample opportunities to check their understanding and work through concepts leading up to the day of an assessment. It is the expectation that students have done everything they can to prepare when the deadline for a test or a quiz comes up.
In honors algebra 2 quiz corrections are allowed with the following conditions:
- The student has completed all of the assignments and classwork leading up to the quiz.
- The student must be able to complete the corrections on their own without the help from the teacher and explain their mistakes.
- The maximum score for a quiz after corrections is a 79%. This score is given only if students correct all mistakes with the correct answer and work/explanations to support their thinking.

Do you accept late assignments?
Posted by:I highly encourage all students to complete all assignments on time if possible, as most concepts lead into the next lesson in the unit. Students that get behind will most likely struggle with the next concept if they have not had enough practice the previous day. Late work will not be given credit in precalculus and honors precalculus. Late work is given partial credit in honors algebra 2 only.
