What materials do I need for class?
1. Folder

3. Fully charged CUSD issued laptop, especially on Mondays for "Laptop lunes"
What is Señora’s rules about my PHONE?
1. All phones are checked into the "cell phone storage" at the front of the classroom at the beginning of class.
2. Cell phones remain there for the entire class period.
3. Mrs. Lorgan is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cell phones during this time.
When is TUTORING?
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays after school with Sra. in C411 OR by appointment.
When can I make up my QUIZ or TEST?

What should I do if I was ABSENT?
- GOOGLE CLASSROOM: posted warm-ups, assignments, at times review videos, and, if possible, handouts.
- Check the black folders on the whiteboard next to the daily agenda (side of classroom) for any handouts.
- Ask your partner clarifying questions.
- Ask Señora questions AFTER SCHOOL or AFTER CLASS if you have done steps 1-3 above and still do not understand what you have missed.
What assignments usually go into my GRADE????
1.) Warm-ups ~ usually 6-8 points per week, approximately 54-72 points per quarter2.) Laptop lunes ~ usually around 10 points of on-line work given on Mondays, once everyone has been issued a CUSD laptop3.) Quizzes ~ usually 25-35 points per quiz, one per chapter, 3-4 per quarter, that can be written or verbal4.) Tests ~ usually 50 points every three weeks, approximately 2-3 tests are given each quarter, that can be written or verbal5.) Participation/Pesos ~ pesos aka participation points are offered everyday; this is a single grade in IC out of 35 points6.) Additional assessments may be given throughout the quarter, such as verbal assessments, projects, skits, etc.What about these PESOS???
- Every time you participate, you will receive a Peso. Sign the back with your FULL NAME, first and last, at the top.
- At the end of class, turn in your Pesos to the appropriate container.
- At the end of each quarter, your goal is 35 Pesos.
- Each quarter, you start over at ZERO.
- Any Pesos you receive over 35 will count as extra credit.
- YOU should keep track of YOUR PESOS.
- Your PESOS will be updated twice per quarter in IC: Progress Reports and at the end of the quarter.
