I have been teaching for Chandler Unified School District for 25 years. I have lived in Arizona most of my life. I love the heat! I attended ASU for my BA and Masters and Phoenix College to study ASL. I am married and have two children. I love to read and spend time with my husband and kids hanging out and playing games. I LOVE dark chocolate!

American Sign Language is a fun and practical language to learn--it is the fourth most used language in the United States! There are many resources to use in addition to our text. Purchasing a dictionary is not necessary, but may be helpful for work at home. Check out the links above to help practice vocabulary and fingerspelling.

Special Note: American Sign Language 1 and 2 are available for dual credit through Chandler Gilbert Community College. Students can earn 16 hours of college credit for SLG 101, SLG 102, SLG 201, and SLG 202. American Sign Language 3 and 4 are offered for honors credit.

Please contact me with any questions.

Let's have a great year together!
